LIFE AFTER THE PANDEMIC OF COVID-19

Community lifestyles will certainly change after the corona virus outbreak (Covid-19) can be overcome in all parts of the world.  In a recent study conducted by Harvard scientists, the lockdown option was not enough to stop the spread.  With the growing number of covid-19 cases, it is estimated that physical distancing or maintaining a distance will last until 2022. This is all necessary to prevent a new wave of corona virus influx.

After Covid-19 ends, the new lifestyle of society will change, some of which are:

1.Community to consume home-cooked food (cooking)

Having lots of time while at home makes us often look for activities to ward off boredom, one of which is by cooking.  Apart from being a reliever of boredom, cooking at home also aims to reduce activities outside the home and maintain the hygiene of food consumed daily. This is the new lifestyle that is predicted will emerge after the pandemic, which is more and more people who consume home-cooked food.  This lifestyle seems pretty good because besides reducing daily expenses, consuming home-made food is good enough for our health.  The reason is, we ourselves know about the cleanliness of each food ingredient and the cleanliness of its processing.

 2. Culture Traveling is increasing

Another new lifestyle that was predicted to emerge after COVID-19 was an increase in the culture of traveling among the people.  The longing to go to tourist attractions can only be cured by traveling.  Even though everyone will continue to implement social distancing later when traveling as the impact of anticipation made during this pandemic.  In the end we will be very careful in maintaining health, one of which is by avoiding crowds in public places.

 3. Become more familiar with virtual-based activities

This COVID-19 pandemic actually makes us more advanced in terms of technology.  the call to remain at home and do all the activities of study, work and worship at home forces us to use various virtual-based technologies.  The goal is that we stay connected with colleagues and of course we can still learn virtually at home. At first it was difficult, but the longer we become more proficient and familiar with various virtual-based activities.

 4. Increased positive parenting and solidarity with others

Another new lifestyle that will emerge after COVID-19 is increasing solidarity and more and more parents are adopting positive parenting.  Yes, during the pandemic parents and children are challenged to remain at home and do all learning and work at home activities.  Of course, this is not an easy situation for both. Parents are challenged to care for children while working.  Not just parenting, parenting during a pandemic is very different from parenting before the pandemic erupted.  Parents prefer to apply positive parenting, which always tries to be active in every child's learning activities while at home (School from Home).  In the past, before the pandemic parents only monitored children while studying at school and may not have been much involved in the learning process of children, but during this pandemic parents were involved in the virtual learning process of children.  This habit was carried over and became a new lifestyle after COVID-19.

Then humans will also be more vigilant and pay attention to cleanliness, by always carrying antiseptic.  Many people refer to the term co-19 post-pandemic as "New Normal".  The new normal.  Where the order and lifestyle will change a lot.  In addition to the above, for example, how to shake hands, wearing masks outdoors, and the habit of reducing the gathering together. For example like in the world of education.  It has been a while since education patterns have been forced to follow the co-19 health protocol which we have been unsure of when it will be achieved.  We learn at home, using technology such as smartphones is an example of a small revolution that has taken place.  If under normal circumstances, it would be difficult to realize an online learning system.  There must be protests and rejections.  Not all students have gadgets / laptops and not all internet accessible areas.

But after co-19 struck, inevitably children and we began to get used to being forced.  And we will tend to always use online media and that results in ineffectiveness in learning, because every student may not necessarily understand the material if conveyed through online media. Then usually in an office environment, like morning parade for example.  In government offices and in schools.  If this physical distancing holds forward, again anticipating the second wave of covid-19 transmission, the morning parade rows will certainly adjust.  Therefore, the field will look narrower and the ceremony participants will look more crowded.  Because, the line spacing between individual morning parade participants is at least 1 meter.

Then schools need to think about building new classrooms.  because reducing the number of students is almost impossible.  Because, there must be a certain distance for each student in the classroom.  And also certainly in terms of economic life will increase after the pandemic, because people will return to sell in the market and tourist attractions will be re-opened. Then the economic improvement will continue to rise.  That's what will happen after covid-19 ends.
